ASTON WOODS PROPERTY OWNERS ASSOCIATION

Monthly Meeting Minutes – August 5, 2009

Attendance:  Trustees present included Ray Fern, Mike Mullen, Carolyn Ferris, Bill Plagge and Rob Hall; absent: Tony Pagano and John Heltman.  Debbie Habig and Margarita Schrenker were also in attendance.

Issues discussed:

• Debbie Habig gave the financial report for the month ending July 31, 2009.  Ray Fern made motion to accept as read, seconded by Bill Plagge, and carried.
• Mike Mullen made a motion to engage Collins Heeb Miller CPA to audit Aston Woods Property Owners Association fiancial records for the year ended December 31, 2008; seconded by Carolyn Ferris; and carried.
• Caroyn Ferris reported that the new furniture purchased from Macy’s was to be delivered on August 20^th.  The old furniture was donated in which Debbie and Margurita would make sure it was removed.  The re-upholstery of chairs and window treatments will be next.
• Rob Hall made a motion to deny fencing off of Pool; seconded by Mike Mullen; and carried.
• Bill Plagge made a motion to table the inside bathroom split; seconded by Mike Mullen; and carried.
• Discussion tiling the outside restroom floors and walls up to 4’ in height.  Paul Bauer placed rubber mats in ladies bathroom.
• Conversion of hot tub room, exercise equipment, and a committee was tabled by Bill Plagge; seconded by Rob Hall; and carried.
• Bill Plagge will address Homeowners issues by friendly reminders. 
• Carolyn Ferris is to meet with Cyndi’s Garden Center concerning the Fall planting and cleanup.
• Proposals for 2009-2010 snow season and 2010 lawn/landscape maintenance.
• Whether or not to keep the pool opened an extra week.
